Las Vegas Country Club
The Las Vegas Country Club is a private and elite equity membership club built by Marvin Kratter of Nevada Equities from the 1960s, which has become the favourite hideaway of stars and professional golfers.
The Club boasts of an 18-hole exquisitely manicured traditional golf course designed by the legendary Ed Ault, a golf shop, six indoor and outdoor tennis courts, racquetball, a clubhouse, a swimming pool, a fitness center that's equipped with state-of-the-art cardio and weight machines, dining area, men's and women's lounges, manhood bar, barber and manicurist, member grille and banquet facilities.
The golf course was completed in 1967 while the clubhouse, in 1968.
The Club underwent several possession turnovers since is building in the 1960s.
The group of Dalitz later sold the Club into 40 of its members who left it as an equity type membership, which still is until now.
The golf course underwent a major renovation to reconstruct all of the greens, bunkers and tees complexes and also to replace its 20-year-old irrigation system using Architect Mark Rathert doing the new design.
The golf course has undergone a facelift but still retains the standard look and playability.
